While blue light filters may help, the truth is, that the research is mixed. Regardless of whether or not you use one, your phone will still emit artificial light, that could negatively affect your sleep cycle. ⁠

Also, if you wake up during the night, it can often be tempting to reach beside you to check your phone. Before you know it, after checking emails, scrolling through social media, reading the news, and playing games, an hour has passed!⁠

Plus, without your phone by your bed, you can start your morning with a mindful moment to yourself and intentional thought about how you want to approach your day.⁠

Try it out for a week and see the difference it makes. From personal experience, I can say that this simple practice made a huge difference for me!⁠
